Services

Regular Anglican worship began in the eastern bays in the early 20th century. The parish church of St Alban was designed by the diocesan architect Frederick de Jersey Clere and the original building was completed in 1910. While extensively modified to accommodate the growing congregation, the graceful proportions of the current building and its distinctive spire still proclaim it as a Clere church.

In May 2010, the centenary year of the church’s opening was celebrated with 100-year-old style.
